For every tower packing, there is an individual data sheet available, with physical data, available materials and mostly, experimental data regarding pressure loss and load limits. These data sheets are shown as a single pdf-document and can be easily printed or saved.

HiDur® Ceramic Balls
Balls are the simplest, regular formed packing elements. Packing with balls has a comparatively small surface per packed volume. Because of the low void fraction of the packing, the pressure drop is quite high.Balls are normally used as catalysts carrier and to smooth flows.

BIOFLOW Biological Carrier

Bioflow
The biological carrier media used in MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) are continously in motion caused by air injection and recirculating water. These carriers offer big surfaces for growing up the microorganism both with high permeability for water. The application of them offers the possibility to increase the capacity of existing plants or to reduce the volume when new plants have to be designed. A further advantage is the low sensibilty against high variabilty of organic loads like it commonly occurs within industrial waste water treatment plants. For further technical information see the download facility.

RFK
Carriers for trickling filters and submerged beds are used in fixed beds. These carriers are both available as structured blocks as well as random packing. The open structure ensures the flow of water in all directions in any case. Severeal types with different specific surfaces can be delivered depending on the required organic load.
