Gas Cleaning Systems

are a focal point of our scope of supply. Next to our core product of single and multi stage packing scrubbers we are delivering jet spray, nozzle spray and venturi scrubbers.

For cooling and saturating hot gases different types of hot gas quenches are being applied.

All our components are manufactured by corrosion proof materials, mainly plastics. Due to the proved layout the use of plastic apparatus and components can be applied up to gas inlet temperatures of 1.300 °C.

We are well experienced in the separation of acid and alkaline pollutants like SO2, HCl, HF, HBr and NH3 as well as elemental halogens e. g. Cl2 and Br2.

Our random packing scrubbing columns are being more and more used for the direct heat exchange between gases and liquids as a part of heat recovery systems.

Separation of Particulate Matters and Aerosols

Our plants for the separation of particulate matters and aerosols are designed by special separation equipment to comply with the environmental requirements. We are delivering

  • Demisters with high performance,
  • Electrostatic filters with wet treatment,
  • Tissue filters.

Next to the standard electrostatic filters with wet treatment the so-called “CAROLA” (corona aerosol) separation system is exclusively supplied by Rauschert Verfahrenstechnik. This patented process has been developed by the Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe and is licensed to Rauschert Verfahrenstechnik.

The particulate matters and the aerosols are being charged at high voltage by passing a nozzle-type ionization device and than being separated by a random packing working as a collecting device. The specific energy demand of the process is much less than that of a conventional electrostatic filter.

For the separation of dust from dry media different types of tissue filters will be applied.
