History

1898 Paul Rauschert senior founded a factory for the production of electro technical porcelain in Hüttengrund/Thuringia. Since the beginning a powerful company had been developed over the years. Fifty years after 2.200 employees were manufacturing technical ceramics in 7 different factories.

After the last war only the factories in Steinbach and Pressig were still remaining as the property of Rauschert. The period of reconstruction was starting with these two facilities.

In 1967 about 600 employees were working again with Rauschert. The scope of supply had been extended by the production of moulded plastic components at Oberbettingen/Eifel.

In 1969 Rainer Kober a grandson of the former founder of the company joined the management together with Paul Ernst Metzler, Gottfried P. Rauschert and Dietrich Rauschert.

1976 start up of the operational division process engineering with new products for chemical process engineering and the development of package units. This department has been transformed into an independent limited company as a supplier for chemical industry and environmental protection projects.

2004 Establishment of the subidiary Rauschert Process Technology, Inc, in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

2005 Establishment of the subsidiary Rauschert Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China

2005 within the frame of a splitting off the Rauschert Verfahrenstechnik GmbH together with the Kober Steinwiesen GmbH are forming the Kober Group founded by Mr. Rainer Kober.

2008 Rauschert Verfahrenstechnk GmbH has been renamed in RVT Process Equipment GmbH as a consequence of the splitting off the Rauschert Group.

RVT Process Equipment GmbH today

Actually about 100 persons are working with RVT Process Equipment GmbH either at our headquarter in Steinwiesen, in our factory and warehouse in Marktrodach or at our subsidiaries in Knoxville/TN, USA and Shanghai/China. Delivering random packing, column internals and mass transfer trays we are the no. 3 in Europe for these products. Column internals and trays are being manufactured by means of our modern machinery equipment. Our workers do have the best qualification for undertaking these works.

Due to our warehouse facilities in Marktrodach, Houston, Singapore and Shanghai we are close to our customers in order to provide a high level of delivery service. With 17 sales representatives RVT Process Equipment GmbH is acting as a global player on all the markets of major importance.

Since 1996 we are a certified company according to ISO 9001: 2000.
